…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN FAYETTE AND SOUTHERN
LAMAR COUNTIES UNTIL 245 PM CDT…
At 218 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Glen Allen to near Fayette to near
Bedford. Movement was east at 20 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Winfield, Fayette, Vernon, Glen Allen, Belk, Blooming Grove, Bedford,
Bluff, Cody, Bazemore, Richard Arthur Field, Lamar County Public
Lake, Bevill State College Fayette, Hubbertville, Fowlers Crossroads,
Star and Hightogy.
