PM CDT…
At 1234 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Sand Rock, or 10 miles southwest of Fort Payne, moving northeast at
5 mph. This covers portions of I-59 in DeKalb County.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Fort Payne, Rainsville, Crossville, Sylvania, Fyffe, Geraldine, Pine
Ridge, Lakeview, Dog Town and Collbran.
