…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR WESTERN MARION AND NORTHERN LAMAR
COUNTIES UNTIL 800 AM CDT…
At 710 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 7
miles southwest of Detroit, or 10 miles northwest of Sulligent,
moving northeast at 35 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include…
Hamilton, Sulligent, Guin, Detroit, Beaverton, Lamar County Airport,
Weston, Crews, Henson Springs, Shottsville, Rankin Fite Airport,
Byrd, Pine Springs, Bexar, Pigeye, Marion County Public Lake and
Pikeville.
This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
