Severe T-Storm Watch Issued For North Alabama Until 1:00 AM Saturday

SPC has issued a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH for the following counties in North Alabama until 1:00 am Saturday: Colbert, Cullman, DeKalb, Franklin, Jackson, Lauderdale, Lawrence, Limestone, Madison, Marshall, and Morgan.

Scattered damaging wind gusts up to 70 MPH will be likely, along with isolated hail up to ping pong size possible.

Frequent lightning and heavy rainfall are also expected to occur in the watch area.
