…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR NORTHWESTERN PICKENS AND LAMAR
COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM CDT…
At 433 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 6 miles northwest of Caledonia to near Kolola
Springs to near Columbus. Movement was east at 20 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Vernon, Sulligent, Millport, Beaverton, Blooming Grove, Lamar County
Airport, Crews, Bedford, Gattman, Cody, Henson Springs, Lamar County
Public Lake, Shaw, Star, Pine Springs, Hightogy, Forest and Melborne.
