…THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR LAWRENCE COUNTY IS CANCELLED…

The storms which prompted the warning have moved out of the area. Therefore, the warning has been cancelled. However heavy rain is still possible with these thunderstorms. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 200 AM CDT for north central and northwestern Alabama.

    Lawrence County in northwestern Alabama…

* Until 845 PM CDT.

* At 749 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 7 miles south of Leighton to 11 miles northeast of
    Phil Campbell, moving northeast at 40 mph.
    HAZARD…60 mph wind gusts.
    SOURCE…Radar indicated.
    IMPACT…Expect damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

    Moulton, Trinity, Town Creek, Courtland, North Courtland, Hillsboro, Mt Hope, Chalybeate Springs, Ne Smith and Caddo.
