Final Update of a Long Day and Night

| February 24, 2019 @ 4:20 am

I think we can safely put today’s system to bed for North and Central Alabama.

Our line of storms extends from Phenix City to the west of Clayton and Clio in Barbour County to just east of Brundidge, then on to Elba and Opp.

Significant weather advisories continue for Barbour County, but the warning for Pike County was allowed to expire at 4:15 a.m.

Those storms over Barbour County may cause some damaging winds as they move toward Eufaula and the Georgia line. So be alert in those areas.

Any last warnings that might pop up will be posted in seconds here, but this will be the final update of the night.
