The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe
limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire.
A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1000 PM CST for north central
and northeastern Alabama.

…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 830 PM CST FOR SOUTHEASTERN CULLMAN COUNTY… At 816 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Hanceville, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD…Tornado.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation. There are several reports of downed trees near The Colony, Bremen, and along Interstate 65 with this storm. At 802 PM, the public reported a funnel cloud with this storm near The Colony as well.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include… Hanceville, Garden City and Walter.

* At 753 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Arkadelphia, or 13 miles north of Sumiton, moving northeast at 45 mph.

SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation. At 745 PM, trained spotters reported possible power flashes near Sipsey and Cordova.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed.
