AND FRANKLIN COUNTIES WILL EXPIRE AT 830 PM CST…
The threat for widespread heavy rainfall has ended, reducing the
threat for rapidly rising and swiftly flowing flood waters. However,
widespread areal flooding will persist across Jackson, Madison and
Franklin counties throughout the night. Please continue to heed any
remaining road closures.

* At 730 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated slow moving thunderstorms producing very high rainfall rates of 1 to 2 inches per hour across the warning area. Due to the saturated nature of the ground and ongoing areal flooding, flood water is expected to rise rapidly and move very swiftly, resulting in flash flooding.
