Heavy rainfall has ended across the warning area, and flooding is no
longer expected to pose a threat. However, water ponding can be
expected on roads and in low lying areas for several more hours.

* At 1041 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated runoff from recent heavy rain has cause areal flooding, from southwest of Athens, to northwest Madison County, to south of Fayetteville, and east of
Lynchburg. One to three inches of rain had already fallen in this area, with more showers moving in from the southwest.
