Fine Fall Weekend
SUN-FILLED SATURDAY: A mainly cloud free day across the state, and after the chilly morning across the area, we are seeing cool to mild temperatures with upper 50s and lower 60s early this afternoon across North/Central Alabama. We should see most locations make it into the upper 60s and lower 70s by days end.
The mainly clear sky will continue into tonight and we are in store for another chilly night with widespread 40s for everyone by tomorrow morning.
SET THOSE CLOCKS BACK: Don’t forget Daylight Saving Time ends tonight and we fall back onto Standard Time. That means we get an extra hour of sleep tonight as 2AM Sunday will become 1AM.
FOR SUNDAY: The day starts off dry, but we will begin to see clouds increase and the threat of rain returns as a front will push a few showers into Alabama tomorrow afternoon and into tomorrow night. The shower activity should be confined to western and northern portions of the state. Highs tomorrow will once again range from the upper 60s to lower 70s.
