At 909 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near West Blocton to near Talladega National
Forest to near Paul M Grist State Park to Selma to near Dallas Lake.
Movement was southeast at 40 mph.
Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Selma, Calera, Clanton, Montevallo, Valley Grande, Centreville,
Jemison, Fort Deposit, Mosses, Hayneville, Selmont-West Selmont,
Thorsby, West Blocton, Autaugaville, White Hall, Maplesville, Wilton,
Gordonville, Billingsley and Lowndesboro.
