…Significant Weather Advisory for lingering Dense Fog across
Jackson County…
Areas of locally dense fog will continue to impact portions of
Jackson County through 11 AM CDT. Visibilities will remain around one
quarter of a mile or less, especially in the Tennessee and Paint
Rock Valleys. The reduced visibility will lead to potentially
hazardous traveling conditions, especially along Highway 72.
Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution, as visibilities
will vary significantly given the patchy nature of the fog. Use low
beams, reduce driving speed, and allow for plenty of room between you
and other cars.
The fog should finally burn off by 11 AM CDT.
