of northeastern Alabama and southern middle Tennessee…
Patchy dense fog has developed across in the Paint Rock Valley
northeast of Huntsville, Alabama and in river valley locations of
Jackson county, Alabama. This fog has dropped visibilities to 1/2
mile or less in several locations. In southern middle Tennessee,
visibilities could drop to less than 1 mile in isolated areas along
the Elk river.
Motorists are urged to drive with extreme caution, as visibilities
will vary significantly given the patchy nature of the fog. Use low
beams, reduce driving speed, and allow for plenty of room between
you and other cars.
The fog should begin to burn off by 8 AM.
