The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a

* Flood Advisory for…
    Southern Randolph County in east central Alabama…
    Northern Tallapoosa County in east central Alabama…
    Northwestern Chambers County in east central Alabama…
    Southern Coosa County in east central Alabama…

* Until 830 PM CDT.

* At 537 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
    One to three inches of rain have already fallen with locally higher amounts.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
    Alexander City, Roanoke, Wedowee, Rockford, Kellyton, Stroud, Jacksons’ Gap, New Site, Wadley, Goldville, Dollar, Bradford, Bentleyville, Trammel Crossroads, Hillabee Creek, Mitchell Lake, Highway 9 and Highway 22, Crystal Lake, Sparkling Springs and
    Malone.
