…A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 715 PM CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN LEE AND CENTRAL RUSSELL COUNTIES… At 631 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Russell County Sports Complex, or 8 miles southwest of Phenix City, moving southeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD…Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. Large hail has been confirmed with this storm. An additional thunderstorm is approaching from the northwest and could also soon become severe.
