…SIGNIFICANT WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SOUTHWESTERN AUTAUGA AND DALLAS
COUNTIES UNTIL 615 PM CDT…
At 540 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Burnsville to 6 miles west of Dannelly
Reservoir. Movement was north at 15 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Selma, Valley Grande, Selmont-West Selmont, Orrville, Bogue Chitto,
Gardner Island, Central Mills, Old Cahaba Park, Dannelly Reservoir,
Dallas County Horse Arena, Memorial Stadium, Burnsville, Potter
Station, Safford, Hazen, Craig Field Aiport, Valley Creek Junction,
Selma Drag Strip, Barrett Creek and Skyharbor Airport.
