NORTHEASTERN ETOWAH AND SOUTHWESTERN CHEROKEE COUNTIES UNTIL 600 PM
CDT…
At 526 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Leesburg to near Piedmont. Movement was
west at 10 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Piedmont, Hokes Bluff, Centre, Leesburg, Tennala, Ballplay, Tabor
Road, Slackland, Cherokee Rock Village, Moshat, Ball Flat, Western
Weiss Lake, Coloma, Weiss Dam, Keener, Chesnut Bay Resort, Knightens
Crossroads, Black Creek, Wilsonia and Reaves.
