NORTHEASTERN GREENE AND NORTHWESTERN HALE COUNTIES UNTIL 530 PM
CDT…
At 501 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
southwestern Tuscaloosa, moving west at 15 mph.
Additional thunderstorms across southern Tuscaloosa County wll also
move west, affecting portions of northern Greene and Hale Counties.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Tuscaloosa, Northport, Holt, Moundville, Coker, Akron, McFarland
Mall, Shelton State Community College, Tuscaloosa Amphitheater,
Bryant Denny Stadium, Tuscaloosa Regional Airport, University Mall,
Knoxville, Evansville, Englewood, Ralph, Little Sandy, Flatwoods,
Maxwell and Moundville Airport.
