ETOWAH…NORTHEASTERN ST. CLAIR…NORTHEASTERN CLEBURNE AND SOUTHERN
CHEROKEE COUNTIES UNTIL 415 PM CDT…
At 335 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Altoona to near Hokes Bluff to 6 miles
east of Pleasant Gap. Movement was south at 15 mph.
Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with
these storms.
Locations impacted include…
Gadsden, Rainbow City, Attalla, Piedmont, Hokes Bluff, Glencoe,
Ashville, Steele, Altoona, Walnut Grove, Reece City, Pleasant Gap,
Ballplay, Gadsden Mall, Noccalula Falls, Ball Flat, Neely Henry Lake,
Southside, Coloma and Alabama International Dragway.
