Daily Climate Report for Birmingham: May 18th, 2018

Temperatures on Friday were pretty close to normal at Birmingham and across most of Central Alabama.   The average temperature for the day finished four degrees above normal, helping to maintain a warmer than normal average so far in the month.

We certainly were far off the record pace of earlier in the week.

You might have noticed your air conditioners running a little bit more than usual so far this month.

Today’s record high is 98F, so we will be nowhere near that with an expected high of 89F .
