Wind Advisory Issued For Parts of Central Alabama

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 7 PM CDT this evening.

* TIMING…through 7 PM CDT.

* WINDS…sustained winds of 15 to 25 MPH with gusts to 35 MPH.

* IMPACTS…from the strong winds could cause hazardous driving conditions as well as downed limbs and weak trees.

A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of 35 mph are expected. Winds this strong can make driving difficult…especially for high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
