…A TORNADO WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 900 PM CDT FOR SOUTHEASTERN CHEROKEE COUNTY… At 839 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Forney, moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD…Tornado and quarter size hail.
SOURCE…Radar indicated rotation.
IMPACT…Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. Locations impacted include… Centre, Cedar Bluff, Centre Municipal Airport, Forney, Tennala, Eastern Weiss Lake, Moshat, Western Weiss Lake, Howells Crossroads and Waterhouse.
