     The heaviest rain has moved out of the region. Although more locally

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has extended the

* Flood Warning for…
     Moore County in Middle Tennessee…
     Lincoln County in Middle Tennessee…
     Franklin County in Middle Tennessee…

* Until 1100 PM CST

* At 842 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated moderate rainfall still
     falling across portions of southern Middle Tennessee. Radar
     estimates and gauge reports indicate that around 3 inches has
     already fallen across the area. Additional rainfall, although on
     the light to moderate side, will continue through the remainder of
     the evening. Any additional rainfall will produce flooding of low
     lying areas and produce rises on area creeks and streams.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
     Winchester, Fayetteville, Lynchburg, Decherd, Estill Springs,
     Cowan, Ardmore, Monteagle, Huntland and Petersburg.

At 711 PM CST, Doppler radar indicated a large area of moderate to heavy rainfall continuing to overspread southern Middle Tennessee. Radar estimates indicate that upwards of 2 inches had already fallen in this area through early evening. Additional amounts of one to locally two inches are possibly through late evening which may produce urban and street flooding along with flooding in low lying areas. In addition, this rainfall may be sufficient to push small creeks and streams out of their banks. Some locations that will experience flooding include… Winchester, Fayetteville, Lynchburg, Decherd, Estill Springs, Cowan, Ardmore, Monteagle, Huntland and Petersburg.

At 507 PM CST, emergency management reported widespread flooding of creeks, streams and other low lying areas across the warned area. Two to three inches of rain have already fallen, with additional bands of moderate to heavy rainfall expected to produce up to an inch of rainfall this evening.
