Strong Storms Affecting Parts of Lee & Macon Counties
At 4:42 PM CST, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Auburn University to Liverpool. Movement was east at 45 mph. Pea size hail and winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with these storms.
NWS Birmingham has issued a Significant Weather Advisory for Central Lee and Northeastern Macoun counties until 5:15 PM.

Auburn, Opelika, Tuskegee, Notasulga, Liverpool, Beans Mill, Lake Tuskegee, Auburn University, Tuskegee National Forest, Beauregard, Society Hill, Loachapoka, Robert G. Pitts Airport, I 85 Rest Area, Uphapee Creek, Chewacla State Park, Moton Field Municipal Airport and Mount Jefferson.
