Nice & Cool At Midday In Central Alabama
Conditions at 12:15 PM
Cobalt blue skies and bright sunshine can be seen all across Central Alabama at this midday hour, with not a single cloud showing up on the latest visible satellite image. We are continuing to have dry continental air flowing into the state, wind winds at the surface out of the west-northwest averaging around 3-6 MPH.
Temperatures at 12:15 PM in Central Alabama were ranging from the mid-60s to the lower 70s throughout the area. Birmingham was at 66 degrees, while the warm spots were Montgomery and Eufaula at 72 degrees, and the cool spots were Cullman and Alexander City at 65 degrees.
Weather For The Rest Of Your Wednesday
Not much to say on a slow weather day… sunny skies and mild temperatures for the rest of the afternoon and early evening hours, with clear skies and cool temperatures tonight and into the overnight hours. Afternoon highs will be in the lower to mid-70s for most, with a few upper 70s to the south. Overnight lows will be in the lower 40s to just at 50 degrees throughout the area.
Thursday’s Weather Will Be A Tad Warmer
Pretty much a carbon copy of today, but a trough that will be affecting the state on Sunday will be edging closer to the Midwest states, and this will make our flow shift and bring in warmer air and slightly higher dewpoints to Central Alabama. We are still going with sunny skies and mild temperatures for day on Thursday, with clear skies and cool temperatures and night. Afternoon highs will be in the mid to upper 70s for most, and overnight lows in the mid-40s to the lower 50s.
