Cloudy, Cool, & A Few Light Showers At Midday
At midday across Central Alabama, we have partly to mostly cloudy skies with cooler temperatures at the moment, and we also have a few showers showing up on radar. They are all very light in nature, ranging from sprinkles to very light showers. Rainfall throughout the day will not amount to very much at all.
Temperatures at this time are running from the mid to upper 60s in the north, with upper 60s to the upper 70s in the southern parts of the area. Birmingham is currently at 68 degrees.
For the rest of the afternoon and into the early evening hours, we’ll continue to have mostly cloudy skies with a slight chance of a few light showers or sprinkles throughout Central Alabama. Highs will be in the mid-70s to the lower 80s. Rain will completely diminish by tonight, but skies will stay mostly cloudy. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid-60s.
Tuesday will be a much better looking and slightly warmer day. We’ll have mostly clear to partly cloudy skies throughout the day, and highs will be back up in the lower to mid-80s.
