Strong Storms Affecting Marengo, Perry, Hale, & Sumter Counties

At 7:22 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Jefferson, or 10 miles southwest of Demopolis, moving east at 25 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.

Locations impacted include…
Demopolis, Linden, Uniontown, Jefferson, Thomaston, Faunsdale, Dayton, Arcola, Dug Hill, Pin Hook, Coatopa, Chickasaw State Park,
Providence, Old Spring Hill, Belmont, Demopolis Lock And Dam, Gallion, McDowell, Bellamy and Laneville.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm, and may lead to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
