Areal Flood Warning Extended For Parts Of Cullman County Until 4:30AM

The National Weather Service in Huntsville Alabama has extended the

* Flood Warning for…
     South central Cullman County in north central Alabama…

* Until 430 AM CDT

* At 1211 AM CDT, the river gauge along the Mulberry Fork just south
     of Arkadelphia was reporting a stage of around 26.3 feet and
     cresting. Flood stage at this location is 25 feet. Radar estimates
     indicate that upwards of 4 to 5 inches of rain have fallen in this
     particular basin over the past 24 hours. The river level should
     continue falling overnight to bankfull stage of 20 feet by 430 AM
     CDT.

* Some locations that will experience flooding include…
     Colony, Arkadelphia and Black Bottom.
