Potential for Strong Tornadoes Near the Georgia Border

The severe weather threat continues in the tornado watch area late this afternoon. And there is a particularly bad threat in the counties bordering Georgia, including Jackson, DeKalb, Cherokee, Calhoun, Cleburne, Clay and Randolph.

Large hail is also a very big threat. Egg size hail (2 inches) was reported in Munford in Talladega County at 3:54. Baseball size hail has also been reported in Talladega County.
