Strong Thunderstorms Now Entering Jefferson County

Strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Oak Grove to near Bull City to near Abernant has brought the NWS Birmingham to issue a Significant weather Advisory for Jefferson County until 3:15PM. Main threat will be winds possible of 40 MPH or more. Movement was these storms are east at 40 mph.

Locations impacted include…
Birmingham, Hoover, Vestavia Hills, Bessemer, Homewood, Mountain Brook, Trussville, Hueytown, Gardendale, Irondale, Leeds, Moody, Fairfield, Fultondale, Center Point, Pleasant Grove, Tarrant, Midfield, Adamsville and Brighton.
