Columbus Radar Is Down

Quick note: The Columbus radar was repaired and put back in operation shortly before 6 p.m. tonight.

The Radar located at Columbus Air Force Base (KGWX) in northeastern Mississippi is currently down iand is expected to be down until Thursday. It is under maintenance and the technicians are waiting for multiple replacement parts to arrive, and are not expected to arrive for a fix today.
