| March 1, 2017 @ 6:25 pm

High temperatures were really warm for the first day of March, with afternoon highs reaching the lower 70s in the north, to the mid 80s in the south. It was so warm in Montgomery today that they broke their old record high for today by 3 degrees. Their high of 85 degrees eclipsed the old record of 82 set back in 1997. Definitely helped support the instability that lead to the severe thunderstorms that moved across the area.
