Significant Weather Advisory: Parts of Fayette, Lamar, & Marion Until 2:45 AM CST
The NWS Birmingham has issued a Significant Weather Advisory for northern Fayette, east-central Lamar, and southeastern Marion counties until 2:45 AM CST. At 214 AM CST, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Blooming Grove, or 9 miles east of Vernon, moving east at 55 mph. Winds in excess of 40 mph will be possible with this storm.
Locations impacted include… Winfield, Fayette, Guin, Brilliant, Glen Allen, Gu-Win, Blooming Grove, Bluff, Texas, Tucker, Wayside, Fowlers Crossroads, Bazemore, Hubbertville and Bevill State College Fayette.
