Multiple grass fires are ongoing in the median along I-459 between the US-280 and Acton Road exits.

Please do not toss lit cigarettes/cigars/matches out of your window. With the ground being so dry due to the drought conditions in Central Alabama, it doesn’t take much at all to cause a fire.
