More showers are starting to develop across Central Alabama. A few have popped up within the last 15 minutes within the Birmingham metropolitan area, just east of Homewood, just southwest of Malfunction Junction, and another over Brighton and Midfield. These are slowly drifting to the northeast.

A few more are located in South-central Marengo, extreme Southwestern Sumter, and extreme southern Greene counties. These are nearly stationary, with just a very slight drift to the north.
