BACK TO THE WEST: The Omega Block pattern that has kept rainfall back to our west has allowed for flooding conditions for parts of Texas. Heavy rain continues for much of southeast Texas at this moment, with multiple Flash Flood Warnings in effect. Some places in Harris County, near Rose Hill, have already received over 17 inches of rain within the past 24 hours. Eventually this pattern will break down and those showers and thunderstorms will move into the state on Thursday afternoon and evening.
