Headlines:
…Some precipitation for much of the nation over the next week
…Big East Coast storm Saturday PM into Monday
…Better West Coast precipitation from northern California north late in the weekend, early next week
…Ramifications for the Upper Plains and Great Lakes by the middle of next week
…Southern Plains impacted Thursday
…Southeast and Ohio Valley into Friday

Everybody should get some precipitation during the next week or so, except southern California and portions of the desert Southwest U.S. Here is a satellite analysis from today with where I think the particular system will affect during the next week.

I always tell people over the Central and Eastern CONUS to look west, because many time the weather you get 5 to 8 days out originates there. And there could be another whopper of a storm for the southern Plains into the SE and Ohio Valley later next week while a little earlier in the week the Great Lakes east to the Northeast will have an interesting time as well, although hopefully not bad as further south.
