NWS Huntsville has cancelled DeKalb and Marshall counties from the Tornado Watch as the threat of severe weather has ended. That clears all the Tennessee Valley counties of North Alabama from the watch.
At 511 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Sand Rock to Rainbow City, moving east at 60 mph.
At 414 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles northwest of Geraldine, or 10 miles east of Guntersville, moving east at 55 mph.
Only a brief stretch of dry weather can be expected from Saturday afternoon through Sunday afternoon, before showers and storms re-enter the forecast and stay through the end of the work week.
At 352 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Skyline, or 13 miles north of Scottsboro, moving east at 55 mph.

At 323 AM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Sardis to Eldridge, moving east at 55 mph.
