Confirmed tornadoes have been reported in Southwest Alabama late this afternoon and this evening. A confirmed tornado is passing near Foley in Baldwin County at this hour. There is no threat of severe weather for North or Central Alabama tonight or tomorrow.

As of 9:54 am, we have a few showers already moving across the southwestern portions of the area, mainly from southern Pickens County down through the southwestern parts of Lowndes County.
Some showers can be expected across the area at times this weekend, but the good news is that candy time on Monday evening looks to be dry and mild.
