New Tornado Watch Issued for the Eastern Parts of Central Alabama Until 7 am
The Storm Prediction Center and NWS Birmingham has issued a Tornado Watch for the remaining counties east of the previous watch, effective immediately until 7 am Thursday morning.

At 1116 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located along a line extending from 7 miles north of Camden to 9 miles south of Dannelly Reservoir to 6 miles northwest of Pine Apple to 7 miles northeast of Beatrice, moving northeast at 50 mph.

At 1040 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Central Mills, or 13 miles southeast of Uniontown, moving northeast at 45 mph.
