The SPC has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch effective immediately for Bibb, Blount, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Chilton, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Etowah, Jefferson, Randolph, Shelby, St. Clair, Talladega, Tallapoosa, Tuscaloosa counties in Central Alabama, and DeKalb, Jackson, Madison, Marshall counties in North Alabama. It is set to expire at 9 pm tonight.
