At 614 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Moores Mill, moving east at 60 mph.
At 602 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Petersburg to Huntsville to Triana, moving northeast at 70 mph. Wind gusts of 60 to 70 mph have been measured.
Radar continues to show a line of strong to severe thunderstorms working slowly to the east across the northwestern parts of Alabama, down through the southern half of Mississippi, and over the southern half of Louisiana.
At 539 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Tanner, or near Athens, moving east at 55 mph.
The good news is that the rotation seems to be weakening on the storm moving into Athens, but the bad news is that there are plenty of damage reports already coming into NWS Chat.
At 515 PM CST, a confirmed dangerous tornado was located over Courtland, or 15 miles north of Moulton, moving east at 65 mph.

At 456 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Littleville, or 8 miles northeast of Russellville, moving east at 65 mph.
At 451 PM CST, a line of severe thunderstorms extending from 8 miles south of Collinwood to Russellville to 10 miles southeast of Red Bay is moving east at 55 mph. This line of storms has a history of producing damaging winds and confirmed tornadoes.
