Already Seeing Some Counties Removed From New Tornado Watch
NWS Birmingham has canceled the Tornado Watch for Bibb, Blount, Chilton, Jefferson, Perry, Shelby, and St. Clair counties as the threat of severe storms has moved out of those locations.

NWS Huntsville has canceled the Tornado Watch for Cullman, Dekalb, and Marshall counties as the threat of severe weather has moved out of those locations.
NWS Birmingham has decided to cancel the last two counties remaining in the Tornado Watch that was set to expire at 11:00 pm. Those two counties are Marengo and Walker.
At 1021 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Gap Of The Mountain to Clanton to Pooles Crossroads, moving northeast at 75 mph.
Instability seems to be dropping over the northern parts of the area with only a small zone of values reading at or just over 500 J/kg over the west-central parts of Central Alabama.
NWS Birmingham has canceled the Tornado Watch for Fayette, Greene, Hale, Lamar, Pickens, Sumter, and Tuscaloosa counties.
At 959 PM CST, severe thunderstorms capable of producing both tornadoes and extensive straight line wind damage were located along a line extending from Brierfield Ironworks Park to Chilton County Motor Sports Park, moving northeast at 40 mph.
NWS Birmingham issues a Tornado Watch for Autauga, Calhoun, Chambers, Cherokee, Clay, Cleburne, Coosa, Dallas, Elmore, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Randolph, Talladega, and Tallapoosa counties until 4:00 am.
At 938 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Ashby to 6 miles northwest of Potter Station, moving east at 45 mph.
At 934 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Fyffe, or 9 miles southwest of Rainsville, moving northeast at 50 mph.
At 923 PM CST, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Harrisburg to near Vaiden, moving east at 40 mph.
Tornado is apparently on the ground as CC is showing a debris signature on radar at this point. If you are in the path of this storm, get to your shelter immediately.
At 902 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 7 miles northeast of Greensboro, moving northeast at 35 mph.
The line of thunderstorms along a cold front will move east of watch 702 within the next 1 to 2 hours. A downstream watch may be needed.
