A plume of deep moisture associated with Tropical Storm Olga will continue to stream north across western Alabama and eastern Mississippi overnight.

NWS Mobile has removed Mobile and Baldwin counties from the Tornado Watch that was set to expire at 9:00 pm tonight as the tornado threat has diminished to be more isolated in nature.
At 821 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located 8 miles south of Putnam, or 17 miles west of Thomasville, moving north at 35 mph.
Several discrete cells are still ongoing along the eastern edge of the rain band across the northern part of the watch area.
A couple tornadoes and isolated damaging winds will be possible through tonight across portions of the central Gulf Coast States.

At 727 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Chickasaw State Park, or 7 miles northeast of Linden, moving north at 35 mph.

Radar at 6:30 continues to show moderate to heavy rain falling over the western-third of Central Alabama.
