At 8:27 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles east of Rogersville, or 10 miles west of Athens, moving north at 45 mph.
Line embedded supercells currently in south central Mississippi are expected to move east with a threat of damaging winds and tornadoes.

At 8:09 PM CDT, The Public Reported A Strong Thunderstorm Near Courtland, Or 12 Miles North Of Moulton, Moving North At 45 Mph. Dime-sized Hail Was Reported With This Storm In Moulton. Nickel Size Hail And Winds In Excess Of 30 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
At 8:01 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Moulton, moving north at 55 mph There have been several reports of dime- sized hail near the Moulton area This may increase in size and intensity.
At 7:42 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Over Moody, Moving North At 50 Mph. Pea Size Hail And Winds In Excess Of 40 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.

At 7:14 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Over Westover, Or Near Chelsea, Moving North At 40 Mph. Half Inch Hail And Winds In Excess Of 40 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.
A tornado watch is now in effect for much of North and Central Alabama until 3 a.m.
