At 8:14 pm, we have just one severe storm out there in Central Alabama, but it is a Tornado Warning for the northern parts of Coosa County for a confirmed tornado that was on the ground and causing damage with the last report of it being near Unity and Weogufka and moving east at 30 MPH.
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
A dangerous storm with rotation continues to move to the east at 35 MPH across the northern portions of Dallas County.
A strong rotational couplet with a confirmed tornado is now moving into the northwestern parts of Coosa County. Trees are being reported on the road on CR-55 and CR-61.

At 7:55 PM CDT, Doppler Radar Was Tracking A Strong Thunderstorm Near Owens Cross Roads, Or 11 Miles Northwest Of Guntersville, Moving Northeast At 65 Mph. Nickel Size Hail And Wind Gusts Of 30 To 40 Mph Will Be Possible With This Storm.

The main line of thunderstorms have now pushed east of the I-59 corridor and the severe threat for points west of that is over for tonight.
