At 6:00 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From 8 Miles East Of Lexington To Near Trinity To Near Mount Hope. Movement Was East At 50 Mph. Winds Up To 40 To 50 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.
A storm with strong rotation is passing out of Lamar toward Fayette County. Take cover if you are in the tornado warning polygon and be ready for another tornado warning for Fayette County.

At 5:19 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located near Belgreen, or near Russellville, moving northeast at 60 mph.

At 5:05 PM CST, Doppler Radar Was Tracking Strong Thunderstorms Along A Line Extending From 7 Miles North Of Weston To Near Hamilton To Lamar County Airport. Movement Was East At 40 Mph. Winds In Excess Of 40 Mph Will Be Possible With These Storms.
Corridor of greatest tornado potential the next few hours will extend from far east-central MS into northwest/west-central AL and far south-central TN.
At 4:36 PM CST, a severe thunderstorm was located over Clay, or near Trussville, moving northeast at 35 mph.
A Tornado-warned cell is just to the north of Aberdeen and just south of Amory in eastern Mississippi and will be soon crossing the state line into the western parts of Marion County.
The storm which prompted the warning has weakened below severe limits, and no longer appears capable of producing a tornado.
Strong winds will affect northern and northeastern Jefferson County over the next 30 minutes. A severe thunderstorm warning remains in effect.
