Damaging wind gusts and a tornado or two will remain possible throughout Tornado Watch 3 for at least the next few hours. Expansion in area may be needed into more of central GA and the eastern FL Panhandle.
At 5:14 PM CST, emergency management reported that residual flooding continued along County Road 8 north of Willow Street.

The original Tornado Watch that was in effect for parts of Central Alabama until 5:00 pm has been canceled as the threat of severe weather for those counties is over.

More damage reports are coming in from Wetumpka, including a few images from Spann’s Twitter Army.
At 3:48 PM CST, emergency management reported flash flooding along County Road 8 north of Willow Street with upwards of two feet of water flowing across the road.
We have more reports in from Wetumpka where an apparent tornado has caused major damage to buildings and vehicles.
The Storm Prediction Center has issued a new Tornado Watch for several counties in the southeastern parts of Central Alabama until 9:00 pm tonight.
