At this point across North/Central Alabama, there is not very much going on but a few sprinkles showing up on radar at the moment, but activity will be picking up later this afternoon.

The National Weather Service in Birmingham has issued a Wind Advisory, which is in effect until 3:00 AM CST Sunday.
SPC has now introduced a Slight Risk for severe storms for parts of North Alabama, and extended the Marginal Risk a little farther south into parts of Central Alabama that includes Jefferson County.
A cold front with the potential for some showers and isolated thunderstorms will move through Alabama later today and overnight with rain chances diminishing rapidly by sunrise Sunday. It will be much colder Sunday with highs in the 50s. Morning lows Monday will be into the lower and middle 30s.
